About Me
About Me
Hi! I’m Miss Kelsey. I’ve been in the early childhood education field for over 16 years and am originally from Rehoboth, Massachusetts. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from UMASS Amherst and also hold my Director Certification. Teaching has always been a dream of mine, and I feel incredibly grateful to have spent so many years learning and growing alongside the children and families I have worked with.
In 2025, my biggest dream came true. I became a mom! With this new chapter, I began thinking creatively about how I could continue doing what I love while embracing motherhood. That’s when the idea to expand Learning with Miss Kelsey into classes was born. A flexible, joyful way to keep teaching, connecting, and building meaningful learning experiences for children and families.

Circle Time Events with miss Kelsey
This is a fun, Judgement Free interactive class designed for young children that includes songs, movement, stories, and simple activities that support social, emotional, and early learning skills. Recommended ages are 2-5 and lap kiddos are always welcome! (updated).
In this class your child will:
Build social confidence by practicing being part of a group in a supportive, low-pressure environment
Strengthen communication skills by sharing ideas, listening to others, and expressing thoughts and feelings
Develop emotional awareness & self-regulation through guided experiences that support understanding feelings and managing big emotions
Practice early school-readiness skills like turn-taking, following routines, and transitioning between activities

In person personalized, learning sessions designed to support your child’s early learning, confidence, and development. These one-on-one sessions are tailored to your child’s unique needs and may focus on school readiness, early literacy and math skills, attention and behavior support, or social-emotional growth.
Skills we will focus on depending on child's needs:
School readiness- (listening, following directions, routines)
Early Literacy- (letters, sounds, books, language)
Early Math Concepts-(counting, patterns, number sense)

Early Literacy 1:1 Sessions
Give your child a love of reading while building the skills they need to succeed! These in-person, one-on-one sessions are led by a current online reading specialist and Massachusetts EEC Certified Educator with 16 years of experience supporting toddlers, preschoolers, and early learners.
Who it’s for:
Pre-K: Exploring letters, sounds, rhymes, and early print concepts
Kindergarten: Strengthening phonics, sight words, decoding, and reading comprehension
What your child will do in each session:
📖 Read short, engaging books together
🔤 Practice letters, sounds, and sight words
✋ Hands-on literacy play: letter games, story sequencing, or phonics crafts
💡 Gain confidence and a love of reading
🏡 Optional tips for parents to support literacy at home

Join Miss Kelsey & Letter Fox for a pen pal adventure! Your child will receive personalized letters filled with stories, creative prompts, games, and meaningful social-emotional learning! All part of the Letter Fox curriculum created by Miss Kelsey. The best part? Miss Kelsey and Letter Fox write back to your child each time, responding personally to what they’ve shared giving thaat true pen pal experience!
Letter Fox Explorers (ages 4–6): Parent-supported early writing, drawing, and creative activities
Letter Fox Adventurers (ages 6–8): Independent writing, story prompts, reflection, and exploration
Season One Investment
Each child receives 5 personalized letters over ~11 weeks, with every letter thoughtfully written in response to your child’s previous one.
This includes:
5 mailed letters from Miss Kelsey & Letter Fox
Miss Kelseys Letter Fox curriculum which includes creative prompts, activities, and sometimes even games
Personalized responses based on your child’s letter
A Certificate of Completion at the end of the season
