Hi! I’m Miss Kelsey. I’ve been in the early childhood education field for over 16 years and am originally from Rehoboth, Massachusetts. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from UMASS Amherst and also hold my Director Certification. Teaching has always been a dream of mine, and I feel incredibly grateful to have spent so many years learning and growing alongside the children and families I have worked with.

In 2025, my biggest dream came true. I became a mom! With this new chapter, I began thinking creatively about how I could continue doing what I love while embracing motherhood. That’s when the idea to expand Learning with Miss Kelsey into classes was born. A flexible, joyful way to keep teaching, connecting, and building meaningful learning experiences for children and families.

Welcoming your little one to new experiences can be exciting… and sometimes a little scary, for both of you! I offer in-person, one-on-one learning sessions designed to support your child’s early learning, confidence, and growth, while gently easing separation for those who haven’t spent much time in a learning setting. Each session is tailored to your child’s unique needs and interests, helping them feel safe, happy, and ready to explore.

What We Focus On:

Gentle Drop-Offs & Separation Support – helping children feel secure and confident when spending time away from parents
School Readiness – listening, following directions, and learning routines
Early Literacy – letters, sounds, stories, and language play
Early Math Concepts – counting, patterns, and number sense
Social-Emotional Skills – confidence, frustration tolerance, and cooperation
Fine Motor & Pre-Writing Skills – hand strength, cutting, pasting, manipulatives, and hand-eye coordination
Attention, Transitions & Behavior Support – gentle strategies to help your child thrive

These sessions are perfect for little ones who are:

• Not yet in school

• Preparing to transition to preschool or kindergarten

• Already in school but needing extra support

All sessions take place in the heart of Seekonk, MA. Exact location shared after booking for online safety.

A monthly gathering for moms and little ones to come together!

This meetup is a chance for children from past events (and new families too!) to play, explore, and build friendships while moms connect, chat, and enjoy time with other moms in the same season of life.

Haven’t attended an event before? You are absolutely welcome, the more the merrier!
